SURFACE DETAIL
BALANCE
MEETS SPEED.
JINGZHE is tuned for responsive speed while retaining a smooth, controlled glide. Lower surface resistance keeps movement lively through tracking and transitions, while maintaining stability in stopping and micro-adjustments.
ONE SURFACE.
THREE RESPONSES.
The JINGZHE surface remains the same. The base changes how it responds under pressure.
FLEX
SOFTER FEEL

Softer cushioning with greater compression under pressure.
CORE
BALANCED SUPPORT

FIRM
FIRMER SUPPORT

WHEN THUNDER
BEGINS TO STIR.
JINGZHE takes its name from 驚蟄 (Jingzhe), one of the traditional 24 solar terms.
It marks the moment when spring thunder begins to stir and dormant life starts to awaken. Movement becomes livelier, quicker and more responsive. That sense of awakening, speed and control became part of JINGZHE’s character — a more responsive glide that still retains balance and stability.
WRITTEN TO
REFLECT THE FEEL.
XDOT uses the seasonal terms as a language for different surface characters, with each product name rendered in hand-brushed calligraphy.
In JINGZHE, 驚 opens with a more lifted, expressive motion that reflects awakening, speed and tension, while 蟄 retains a steadier center of gravity and a more controlled finish, echoing the sense of control and recovery in glide.
Together, the two characters translate JINGZHE’s BALANCE × SPEED character into a visual form.
ATMOSPHERE,
TRANSLATED
INTO FORM.
The JINGZHE package extends the same seasonal idea into a more vivid, yet still restrained, visual language.
A misted gray-green palette sets the tone. Distant mountains, drifting fog and lightning in the sky build the seasonal atmosphere, while the emerging sprout represents awakening and growth — translating JINGZHE’s BALANCE × SPEED character into a more dynamic packaging expression.
